The Fabric Maverick says... Do not forget those special people on Valentine's Day!

Valentine's Day should not be just about the love between a man and a woman. I like to expand that to all my relationships. I think "Moms" are extra special. What to do for mom or a special girl friend? Aprons are hot. I know that a lot of Moms have special memories from their childhood. What a great idea to make an apron from some of the retro fabrics recalling her younger days. I have a friend who just loves Elvis Presley. I have another who loves the Beatles. Check out the Novelty category for some ideas sure to hit the right note for a Mom or friend. As you can see, we made an apron using fabric from the I Love Lucy Chocolate Factory collection and  this pattern from Indygo Junction- It was a hit with our staff!

Give a cookbook along with this and take your Mom to lunch. You will be a favorite daughter.
